The 3Di
Eye-luminate is working in collaboration with the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute at University of California, Irvine, to produce a device that allows for 3D ultrasound visualization of the eye. As an ophthalmic ultrasound probe attachement, the 3Di aims to improve patient diagnosis for diseases and reduce the minimum skill requirements for examining ultrasound images by providing a live 3D-model of the eye that annotates abnormalities and anatomical locations.
