Cynthia Hernandez
Cynthia is a graduating Biomedical Engineering major, and she is the team lead for this project. Throughout the development, she has been responsible for financial management, overseeing the design, and image processing. During her spare time, she enjoys community outreach, photography, and learning new coding languages.

Natalie Malek
Natalie is a UCI Biomedical Engineering student and one of the device designers for the EyeLuminate team. She plans and participates in Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) events, does research at the Beckman Laser Institute, and enjoys singing and spending time with friends.

Kenneth Tayag
Kenneth is a graduating Biomedical Engineering major from the University of California, Irvine. He is primarily responsible for the hardware of EyeLuminate’s 3Di product, but he also assists the other team members with other aspects of the project. He is passionate about basketball, and in his free time he likes to go to music festivals, go stargazing, and explore new places.

Soufia Shenouda
Soufia is a graduating Biomedical Engineering major at UC Irvine. She has been working on manufacturing and material selection of the 3Di device. She has also been responsible for image processing and testing the device. In Soufia’s spare time, she enjoys traveling to new places, revisiting places she loved, and participating in the Engineers Without Borders club.

Sepanta Shekarchi
Sepanta is a senior Mechanical Engineering Student and he is in charge of the electrical configuration and supports the device design. He’s used his experience in robotics and design for manufacturing to assist the team throughout the year. Outside of the project, Sepanta enjoys watching soccer and exploring Southern California.

Glenn G. Golla
Glenn is a graduating Biomedical Engineering major at UCI. He has been responsible for the circuit design and code corresponding to the electrical components of the device. He also assisted with the initial design prototyping and 3D-modeling of the device. Glenn enjoys working out, eating good food, and hanging with his friends during his free time.
